One-off "Products"
Sometimes I want to add a random one-off charge to a client, without creating a whole Product. example: a DisplayPort cable, a USB stick, a pack of AAA batteries, etc.
Thinking about creating a generic Product to use for this, like "Hardware Item" or "Hardware Expense", but wondering if you fine people are doing something better.
In the past I would put this in Harvest, which allows free-entry in the products ("Expenses") fields.

Same goes for in a Contract, it would be nice to be able to just add a random line-item for weird stuff.
You can override the description, price, cost etc. of a product on the ticket/contract/invoice level so the best approach is to just create one called ‘Miscellaneous’ and use that.
If you want to be a little more descriptive with the name you can create a few common ones that you regularly use.

gifs don't work properly in here. 🙁
Thanks! I'll start with a Consumables product and an Accessories product.

I am basic and just have a product called "Hardware", lol.
My team would start selling hammers
To direct quote an old boss of mine, as long as I get my 40% I'll sell a fridge.
