Auto assigning Contracts to work based on location

I have a client with 3 different locations with 3 different contracts, however any work done is getting assigned to no contract, what does it use that I'm not doing so that it auto assigned rather than me having to change it in the approval process? I thought it might have been the end user location but it doesn't appear so?
Solution:
If they need different billing names and different contacts in Xero then you're best to create separate clients in Gorelo. Billing on a 'per location' basis is generally so the client can report on things internally as opposed to truly being a different entity.

Thanks Mikel! @Mikel from Gorelo just adding to this, I am starting to see some short comings where a company like this needs to be supported as one but billed separately, as the invoices are now effectively going to one client in xero. I probably have no choice to do some double handling once they get to xero, otherwise things like client statements will contain all invoices. If I was to change the customer in xero once the invoice gets there, will that throw things out syncing back?

Ok, I will do that and see what it looks like moving forward. My biggest issue is that they are 1 365 tenant, which means 1 Huntress ITDR etc. Might be a suck it and see type deal, I'm sure another way of doing things for users and assets will come to me once I have them split.

Yeah that's a tough one.. I'd usually say that 1x M365 tenant = 1x billing entity... just how Microsoft would treat them if they put a CC on file.

aaaaand now I have to deal with a contact not being unique when adding their billing contacts. No way to change a contract to a different client I presume?

Doesn't seem to work for Primary contact? Also when doing a ticket can you have an asset from one client and a contact from another?

Billing only in that section Contacts can be cross-client on a ticket, not assets/uptime though

OK great that's fine, I can move all assets to clients and keep the contacts under one of them. This was easily worked around turning the existing contract into a template. Do you still want this question up for the Location bug? Effectively separating clients is a work around that works for me. I presume the bug is now added to your list somewhere to fix one day?
