Recommended method to push agent via Intune for new devices
Most of our clients use Intune with Autopilot or Device Prep. When pushing the Gorelo agent for new devices, is it recommended to use the script or wrap the manual agent as an app?

Hey @D0M , using the script is the easiest recommended method for deploying Gorelo. There is a full guide here that you can reference - https://feedback.gorelo.io/en/help/articles/9480430-deploy-the-gorelo-agent-via-intune
Deploy the Gorelo agent via Intune - Gorelo
Give Gorelo feedback on how they could improve their product.
@deX do you use this method ? If so, how’s it been going?
We used it for quite a while and saw no issues but recently every so often we’ll get one failing.
I’ve done some investigating and the generally consensus is don’t use platform scripts to download and install apps especially when using other methods for apps in intune.
I think Win 32 might be the play but I’ve not done testing just yet.
I've just checked a few customers, and they all have 100% success.
Do you have DNS filtering? Maybe some gorelo domains are being blocked?
Mmm righto, nah, checked all the basics. Manually run script just after or re trying AP works.
From what I can gather there is another Intune process occurring that interferes with either the download request or the msi installation.
Seems like it’s not dissimilar to how Intune LOB deployment breaks from various other things Intune does 🙄
“You can have any setup you want, as long as it’s the right one” 😂
At some point … I’m ganna try to compete more testing and see if win32 wraping resolves ‘
