The New Tag: Does not seem to be working

I have had the new tag set up to install a few applications on adding a new computer. It has worked well in the past but the last 2 computers that have been added, the applications have not been installed immediately as per the policy. Not sure if the policy run every day option works because my people have installed the apps manually by then. The computer will be restarted within 60 minutes of being added to Gorelo as we install updates as a first step. Once that happens, nothing seems to happen with installing apps based on the New tag. Has something changed or am I missing something
