ticket reminders / Due Dates Workflow

In previous helpdesk/ticketing solutions I have used there was always a provision to assign "due dates" or "reminders" to tickets. This was useful as it allowed one to quickly set a ticket flag for a certain date/time. I know there is a calendar facility in the ticket but this feels like its more for a planned visit/assign time as opposed to a planned reminder of sorts? Now I'm sure there is a reason for this and a more "modern" workflow so curious to know if/how others are using Gorelo to achieve the same thing?
